INSTRUCTIONS FOR 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR ONLINE REGISTRATION

AISD PARENT/GUARDIAN OF A RETURNING STUDENT
Registration for students who completed the current school year at Athens ISD is open now through June 28. After that, the ability to register will be placed on hold until July 11 due to a change in software. PLEASE BE AWARE, if you start the registration process but do not complete it by June 28, your progress will not be saved due to the change in software. In such a scenario, you would need to start the process from the beginning once the new software is online.
A new proof of residency* and photo ID is required.
Begin the process by entering the “Family Access” portal through Skyward here: athens isd - Powered by Skyward
AISD PARENT/GUARDIAN WHO ALREADY HAS STUDENT(S) ENROLLED AND NEEDS TO ENROLL A NEW STUDENT
You can enroll your new student for the upcoming school year through Family Access on the AISD website using the New Student Enrollment button.
NEW FAMILIES TO AISD
A student who will be enrolling for the first time with Athens ISD (and the parent/guardian has never had any students enrolled with Athens ISD) can be enrolled on the AISD website using this New Student Enrollment link.
TRANSFER STUDENTS
Students residing somewhere outside of Athens ISD must complete and submit an approved transfer request. Contact the campus office for details.
*PROOF OF RESIDENCY GUIDANCE
Acceptable documents include utility bills, such as electric, gas or water bills; mortgage/deeds; lease agreements with landlord contact; or closing statement on home.
Proof can be submitted by email to proof@athensisd.net or in person to any campus registrar, Monday-Thursday.
Be sure to list all school-age students who are living at the residence.
If the utilities are under someone else’s name, you will need to submit a proof of residency form. Contact the campus registrar for more information.

INSTRUCCIONES PARA LA INSCRIPCIÓN EN LÍNEA DEL AÑO ESCOLAR 2024-2025
AISD PADRE/TUTOR DE UN ESTUDIANTE QUE REGRESA
La inscripción para estudiantes que completaron el año escolar actual en Athens ISD está abierta hasta el 28 de junio. Después de eso, la capacidad de registrarse se pondrá en espera hasta el 11 de julio debido a un cambio en el programa. ESTUDIANTES TRANSFERIDOS

*ORIENTACIÓN DE PRUEBA DE RESIDENCIA
