The Athens High School Speech & Debate Team is headed to the National Speech & Debate Tournament once again. After a grueling three-day qualifying competition, Cooper Rich (left) and Isaac Hoch earned qualifying spots to the National Speech & Debate Association (NSDA) National Tournament to compete in Congressional Debate. The NSDA National Tournament hosts the best speech & debate competitors from all over the country, and students must qualify through their district tournament. This year's national tournament will be held June 16-21 in Des Moines, Iowa.
