A group of seven people stands together indoors, smiling at the camera. From left to right: a woman in a black dress with a turquoise necklace, a woman in a floral dress and denim jacket, a woman in a geometric-patterned dress, a woman in a short-sleeved denim dress, a man in a maroon Athens ISD pullover, a man in a white shirt with a red tie, and a woman in a black top with a leopard-print skirt. A large mirror and door are visible in the background.

Athens ISD is celebrating its five Campus Teachers of the Year — educators who exemplify excellence in and out of the classroom. They were selected not only for their outstanding instructional skills, but also for their ability to inspire students of all backgrounds, and earn the respect of others.
